The KONTEN MP-1604XB is an industrial managed PoE+ Ethernet switch with 16+4 ports and 10G uplink, designed for reliable network operation in demanding industrial environments. 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ support, along with four 1/10 Gigabit SFP+ slots, offer system integrators and machine builders a compact port density combined with extended uplink bandwidth for powerful network infrastructures.

For users, the full PoE+ capability across all 16 ports means cameras, access points, and other end devices can be powered directly through the network cable, significantly reducing cabling effort and installation costs. The four 10-gigabit SFP+ uplinks provide substantial bandwidth headroom for data-intensive applications, such as numerous high-resolution cameras or growing network traffic. Network redundancy through RSTP, MSTP, ERPS, and LACP ensures that in the event of a connection failure, traffic is automatically rerouted to alternative paths — a key advantage for facilities where downtime carries high costs.
