Industrial 10G Media Converter with 10GBASE-T and SFP+ for High-Performance Fiber Optic Networks

The Konten IM-0101X is an industrial 10G media converter designed for demanding applications in industrial automation, data centers, intelligent transportation systems and modern Ethernet infrastructures. Equipped with one 100M/1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T RJ45 port and one 10G SFP+ slot, the device enables reliable connectivity between copper and fiber optic networks with data rates of up to 10 Gbps. The SFP+ interface supports both multimode and single-mode SFP+ modules, providing flexible deployment options for different fiber optic applications and transmission distances. With integrated Auto-Negotiation and Auto-MDI/MDI-X functions, the converter can be easily integrated into existing network environments. The Store-and-Forward switching technology ensures stable and reliable data transmission, even under high network loads.

The IM-0101X has been engineered for continuous and reliable operation in demanding industrial environments. Its rugged SECC metal enclosure with IP30 protection effectively protects the internal electronics against external influences. With an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +75 °C, the media converter is ideally suited for control cabinets, industrial production facilities and outdoor installations. The redundant power supply supports 12–48 VDC through two independent power inputs and includes integrated protection against overcurrent and reverse polarity, ensuring high operational safety and reliability. The device is designed for standard DIN rail mounting, while optional wall mounting is also available.

Supporting modern Ethernet standards including IEEE 802.3ae 10GBase, IEEE 802.3ab, IEEE 802.3z and IEEE 802.3x Flow Control, the IM-0101X is ideally suited for high-performance backbone connections and industrial high-speed networks. LED indicators for power supply and port status allow quick diagnostics and simplify maintenance operations.
