The Konten MT-1000G-M12 is an industrial managed PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet switch specifically designed for demanding railway, transportation and industrial automation applications. Equipped with ten 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports with M12 X-coded connectors, including eight IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports, the switch provides a powerful networking solution for industrial environments requiring high-speed data transmission, centralized management and reliable Power over Ethernet. The rugged M12 connectors ensure secure, vibration-resistant connections even under severe mechanical stress, making the switch ideally suited for railway vehicles, transportation infrastructure and mobile machinery. With an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +75 °C, the switch delivers reliable performance under extreme environmental conditions. Its redundant, galvanically isolated power supply supports 24 VDC, 48 VDC and 72–110 VDC input voltages while providing a total PoE power budget of up to 190 watts. Integrated protection against overcurrent and reverse polarity further enhances operational safety and ensures long-term reliability in demanding applications.

As a fully managed Layer 2 switch, the MT-1000G-M12 offers an extensive range of advanced networking and security features for modern industrial networks. It supports RSTP, MSTP, ERPS and LACP for network redundancy, while QoS with CoS and DSCP support enables prioritization of time-sensitive traffic. Additional capabilities include IGMP Snooping v1/v2/v3, VLAN configuration, DHCP Relay Option 82, SNMP v1/v2c/v3, storm protection and comprehensive security features such as IEEE 802.1X, RADIUS, TACACS+, SSL and SSH. The switch also supports industrial communication protocols including EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP and PROFINET, as well as the PoE PD Alive Check function, which automatically monitors connected PoE devices and reboots them when necessary. With a 20 Gbps switching capacity, a 16,000-entry MAC address table and a 12 Mbit packet buffer, the switch delivers the performance required for modern industrial Ethernet infrastructures.

LED indicators for power status, system status, port activity and PoE output simplify network monitoring and maintenance. The switch supports both wall mounting and optional DIN rail installation, providing flexible deployment options for a wide range of industrial environments.
