Industrial Unmanaged PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 10 M12 Ports for Reliable Railway Networks

The Konten ET-1000G-M12 is an industrial unmanaged PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to provide high-performance and reliable network communication in demanding industrial and railway environments. Featuring ten 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports with M12 X-coded connectors and eight integrated IEEE 802.3at PoE+ ports, the switch enables both high-speed data transmission and direct power supply for compatible network devices through the Ethernet connection. This simplifies the integration of PoE-enabled components into industrial networks while reducing the need for additional power cabling. The rugged M12 connections provide secure and vibration-resistant communication, making the switch particularly suitable for mobile applications, railway vehicles and transportation systems. The integrated Bypass function ensures continuous network communication even when power is unavailable at ports 9 and 10.

The ET-1000G-M12 has been specifically developed for operation under harsh environmental conditions and complies with the EN50155 standard for railway applications. Its robust SECC metal enclosure provides IP40 protection as standard and is also available in an IP54 version. With an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +75 °C, the switch ensures reliable performance even under extreme temperature conditions. The redundant and galvanically isolated PoE power supply with a maximum power budget of 165 watts enables stable power delivery to connected PoE devices. Integrated protection against overcurrent and reverse polarity further improves system safety and supports continuous operation in critical industrial applications.

For efficient network data management, the switch uses a Store-and-Forward switching architecture and provides a 20 Gbps switching capacity, a 16,000-entry MAC address table, and a 12 Mbit packet buffer. Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X allow simple integration into existing Ethernet infrastructures. Each PoE port can provide up to 30 watts, while the total PoE budget reaches 165 watts, allowing multiple Ethernet-powered devices to operate reliably through a single switch.

LED indicators for power supply, system status, port activity and PoE output enable quick monitoring of operating conditions. The switch supports wall mounting as well as optional DIN rail mounting, allowing flexible installation in different industrial systems.
