The Konten ES-1000G-M12 is an industrial unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to provide robust and reliable network communication in demanding environments. Featuring ten 10/100/1000 Mbps Gigabit Ethernet ports with M12 X-coded connectors, the switch offers a high-performance solution for industrial networks requiring high data rates, secure connections and continuous communication. The M12 connectors provide vibration-resistant and reliable connections, making the switch particularly suitable for mobile applications as well as railway and transportation systems. The integrated Bypass function enables continuous network communication even when power is unavailable at ports 9 and 10, improving the availability of critical network infrastructures.

The ES-1000G-M12 has been specifically developed for operation under harsh environmental conditions and complies with the EN50155 standard for railway applications. Its rugged SECC metal enclosure provides IP40 protection as standard and is also available in an IP54 version. With an extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +75 °C, the switch ensures reliable performance even under extreme temperature conditions. Dual redundant power inputs supporting different input voltages, together with integrated protection against overcurrent and reverse polarity, provide stable and secure power supply. This design makes the switch suitable for industrial systems where long-term network reliability is essential.

For efficient handling of large data volumes, the switch uses a Store-and-Forward switching architecture and provides a 20 Gbps switching capacity, a 16,000-entry MAC address table, and a 12 Mbit packet buffer. Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X simplify integration into existing Ethernet networks and enable fast installation. The ten Gigabit M12 ports offer flexible connectivity options and support high-performance communication between industrial devices and network components.

LED indicators for power status, system status and port activity allow quick monitoring of operating conditions. The switch supports wall mounting as well as optional DIN rail mounting, enabling flexible integration into different industrial installations.
