The KONTEN MH-0804X4 is an industrial managed PoE++ Ethernet switch with 8+4 ports and 10G uplink, designed for reliable network operation in demanding industrial environments. Eight Gigabit Ethernet ports, four of which support IEEE 802.3bt 60W PoE++, along with four 1/10 Gigabit SFP+ slots, offer system integrators and machine builders a powerful network solution with extended power delivery capacity.

For users, the PoE++ capability delivering up to 60 watts per port means even power-hungry end devices such as PTZ cameras, industrial computers, or access points can be powered directly through the network cable — without any additional local power wiring. The four 10-gigabit SFP+ uplinks provide substantial bandwidth headroom for data-intensive applications on the network. Network redundancy through RSTP, MSTP, ERPS, and LACP ensures that in the event of a connection failure, traffic is automatically rerouted to alternative paths — a key advantage for facilities where downtime carries high costs. QoS functions via CoS and DSCP prioritize critical data streams, ensuring deterministic behavior for automation applications with real-time requirements. The USB storage function enables configuration-free device replacement during service, significantly speeding up maintenance work. The switch also supports the industrial automation protocols Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP along with a PoE PD Alive Check function that automatically restarts unresponsive PoE devices.
