The KONTEN MS-2404GS-8C is an industrial managed Gigabit Ethernet switch with 16+8+4 ports, designed for reliable network operation in demanding and substation-grade industrial environments. Sixteen Gigabit Ethernet ports, eight additional Gigabit combo ports, and four 1000F(x) SFP slots offer system integrators and machine builders high port density and maximum flexibility for building powerful network infrastructures.

For users, compliance with IEC61850-3 and IEEE1613 means the switch is also suitable for deployment in electrical substations and power infrastructure, where strict requirements for electromagnetic compatibility and operational reliability apply. The combo ports provide a flexible choice between copper and fiber connectivity depending on the application, while the four SFP slots add extra uplink capacity for connecting to higher-level network tiers — ideal for facilities with many distributed end devices.
