KONTEN MP-2404X

The KONTEN MP-2404X is an industrial managed PoE+ Ethernet switch with 24+4 ports and 10G uplink, designed for reliable network operation in demanding industrial environments. 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ support, along with four 1/10 Gigabit SFP+ slots, offer system integrators and machine builders high port density combined with extended uplink bandwidth for demanding network infrastructures.

For users, the full PoE+ capability across all 24 ports means cameras, access points, and other end devices can be powered directly through the network cable, significantly reducing cabling effort and installation costs. The four 10-gigabit SFP+ uplinks provide substantial bandwidth headroom for data-intensive applications, such as numerous high-resolution cameras or growing network traffic. Network redundancy through RSTP, MSTP, ERPS, and LACP ensures that in the event of a connection failure, traffic is automatically rerouted to alternative paths — a key advantage for facilities where downtime carries high costs. QoS functions via CoS and DSCP prioritize critical data streams, ensuring deterministic behavior for automation applications with real-time requirements. The USB storage function enables configuration-free device replacement during service, significantly speeding up maintenance work. The switch also supports the industrial automation protocols Ethernet/IP and Modbus TCP for direct integration into existing PLC and control systems, along with a PoE PD Alive Check function that automatically restarts unresponsive PoE devices without manual intervention.
