ED700-EHL / ED700-EHL22I – Ultra Compact Fanless Embedded System with Intel® Atom® Elkhart Lake Processors

The ED700-EHL / ED700-EHL22I from DFI is an ultra-compact fanless embedded system designed for industrial automation, IoT, edge computing, intelligent control systems, and industrial communication applications. Powered by energy-efficient Intel® Atom® Elkhart Lake processors, it provides reliable computing performance, low power consumption, rich I/O connectivity, and flexible expansion options in a rugged aluminum and metal enclosure.

The ED700-EHL supports multiple Intel® Atom® and Intel® Celeron® processors, including Intel® Celeron® J6412/J6413 and Intel® Atom® x6211E, x6413E, x6425E, and x6425RE processors. Depending on the configuration, the system provides 4GB or 8GB onboard DDR4 memory and one additional DDR4-3200 SO-DIMM slot, supporting up to 32GB total memory capacity.

For storage, the system features an M.2 2280 slot and optional 16GB/32GB eMMC storage. Expansion options include an M.2 E-Key 2230 slot for WiFi/Bluetooth and an M.2 B-Key 3042/3052 slot with dual SIM support for 4G/5G communication modules.

Display connectivity includes VGA and optional DisplayPort. Industrial connectivity features include 2/3× Intel® Gigabit Ethernet, 1× Intel® 2.5GbE LAN, multiple COM interfaces, and USB ports. The ED700-EHL22I variant additionally provides isolated COM ports and isolated Digital I/O for demanding industrial applications.

With its fanless design, 9~36V DC wide-range power input, wall and DIN-rail mounting support, and extended operating temperature options up to -40°C to 60°C, the ED700-EHL is ideal for reliable long-term operation in industrial environments.
