EC70A-ADN – Fanless Embedded Computer with Intel® Atom® Alder Lake-N Processors

The EC70A-ADN from DFI is a compact fanless embedded computer designed for industrial automation, edge computing, IoT, machine vision, and smart factory applications. Powered by Intel® Atom® Alder Lake-N processors, it combines excellent energy efficiency, modern connectivity, and flexible expansion options in a rugged aluminum enclosure.

The system supports the Intel® Core™ i3-N305 processor with 8 cores, clock speeds of up to 3.8 GHz, and a 15 W TDP. A single DDR5-4800 SO-DIMM slot supports up to 32 GB of memory. Storage is provided through an M.2 M-Key 2280/2242 (PCIe Gen3 x1/SATA 3.0) slot for NVMe or SATA SSDs.

For display connectivity, the EC70A-ADN features HDMI and USB Type-C with DisplayPort Alternate Mode, supporting dual independent displays. Networking includes 3× Intel® 2.5GbE LAN, while additional I/O features include 4× USB 3.2, 2× USB 2.0, COM, audio ports, and multiple M.2 slots for WiFi, Bluetooth, or 4G/5G communication modules with SIM support.

The rugged aluminum enclosure supports wall, VESA, and DIN-rail mounting. With a 9~36 V DC wide-range power input, TPM 2.0, and an operating temperature range of -5 °C to 60 °C, the EC70A-ADN is well suited for continuous industrial operation. It supports Windows 10 IoT Enterprise and Linux.
