The Hippo Series from OPT includes high-precision telecentric lenses specifically designed for demanding industrial vision, measurement, and inspection applications. Their telecentric optical design ensures scale-accurate, distortion-free imaging, displaying objects with minimal perspective distortion regardless of their position in the field of view – a key advantage for precise measurement and quality control processes.

Hippo lenses are compatible with cameras up to 1.1″ sensor format and cover a wide magnification range of approximately 0.3× to 4× – ideal for various field-of-view and working-distance requirements. They feature high resolution, low distortion, and strong telecentricity, providing clear, sharp images and precise measurement data across the entire image field.

Some models also come with integrated coaxial illumination, further enhancing the visibility of fine features on highly reflective surfaces.
