OPT 78MP Series – High-Resolution Fixed Focal Length Lenses

The OPT 78MP series from OPT includes fixed focal length lenses specifically designed for industrial vision systems with high resolution requirements. These lenses are compatible with cameras supporting pixel sizes of ≥ 3.2 µm and sensor formats with diameters up to Ø 44 mm – ideal for demanding measurement and inspection tasks.

With high resolution of up to 160 lp/mm across the entire field of view, these lenses deliver very fine image details and enable precise analysis even with large-format, high-resolution camera systems. The wide-band coating (400–1000 nm) makes the series suitable for both visible light and near-infrared applications.

A Floating Focus structural design ensures stable optical performance across a wide working distance range, keeping image quality consistently high even at varying measurement distances. In addition, the lenses can be finely calibrated to the camera mount using flange adjustment gaskets to fully exploit the optical potential.

Typical applications include defect and surface inspection, position and dimensional measurement, as well as complex vision system analysis in industrial automation.
