OPT-PIG Series – High Intensity Spot Lights (Standard Light Source)

The OPT-PIG series from OPT includes high-intensity spot lights specifically designed for demanding industrial machine vision and inspection tasks. These spot lights deliver significantly higher light intensity than conventional spotlights, enabling sharp, high-contrast images even with short exposure times — a key advantage for fast production lines and precise measurement tasks.

Thanks to an efficient thermal dissipation design, the housing temperature remains low even at high power, while a special light guide tube system achieves a maximum illumination intensity of up to approximately 400,000 lux. This focused light guidance provides intense, uniform front illumination that reveals fine surface structures and small defects.

Typical applications include inspection of capacitor and screw surfaces, measurement of connector pitch distances, and inspection of solder joints and micro parts.
