OPT-LSS Series – High Intensity Line Scan Lights (Standard Light Source)

The OPT-LSS series from OPT includes high-intensity line scan lights specifically designed for demanding line scan illumination tasks in industrial machine vision. These LEDs deliver extremely high light intensity of up to approximately 2000 kLux (at a 50 mm working distance), making them ideal for applications with high-speed cameras and stringent brightness requirements.

Thanks to a low divergence angle, the series provides focused and uniform illumination across the entire scan line, even at long working distances. An optional diffuser film is available to achieve homogeneous illumination on highly reflective objects or to use the light as a backlight.

Typical applications of the OPT-LSS series include ultra-high-speed line scan inspection, long-distance scanning applications, and high-speed print inspection. These light sources are ideal for industrial automation and inspection systems that require maximum light output and superior image quality.
