The OPT-CO/OPT-COR series from OPT offers high-quality coaxial LED light sources for industrial machine vision, providing highly directional and uniform illumination along the optical axis. Thanks to high LED density and optimized thermal management, OPT-CO/OPT-COR lights deliver stable, high-performance illumination with a long service life. Coaxial lighting is particularly suitable for revealing surface irregularities on highly reflective materials, as the light is projected almost parallel to the camera lens, minimizing unwanted shadows.

Typical applications include scratch and defect detection on shiny surfaces, position and mark recognition, reading barcodes and laser-marked 2D codes, as well as edge and contour detection in inspection processes.
