RM645-ICX610 – 4U Rackmount Edge Server with 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors

The RM645-ICX610 from DFI is a high-performance 4U rackmount edge server designed for data centers, AI inference, industrial server applications, virtualization, and high-performance computing. Powered by 3rd Gen Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors (Ice Lake-SP) and the Intel® C621A chipset, it delivers a scalable platform for demanding enterprise and edge workloads.

The server features 8 DDR4 ECC-RDIMM memory slots supporting up to 512 GB of DDR4-3200 memory. Expansion options include 3× PCIe Gen4 x16, 3× PCIe Gen4 x8, and 1× M.2 2280 M-Key for NVMe SSDs. Storage is further enhanced with 6× SATA 3.0 ports supporting RAID 0/1/5/10.

Networking includes 2× 10GbE, 2× Gigabit Ethernet, and an optional dedicated IPMI LAN for out-of-band management. Additional I/O features include 1× RS-232, 4× USB 3.1 Gen1, 2× USB 2.0, and optional VGA. The rugged 4U industrial chassis with active cooling is built for continuous operation and supports Windows 10 IoT, Windows Server 2019, and Ubuntu 20.04.
