RM645-SO630 – 4U Rackmount Edge Server with AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3000 Processors

The RM645-SO630 from DFI is a high-performance 4U rackmount edge server designed for industrial server applications, edge computing, virtualization, networking infrastructure, and data processing. Powered by AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3000 Series processors, it delivers enterprise-class performance, long-term availability, and a scalable platform for demanding embedded and edge deployments.

The system supports AMD EPYC™ Embedded 3451 and 3351 processors with up to 16 cores and 32 threads. It features 8 DDR4 ECC RDIMM/UDIMM memory slots supporting up to 256 GB of DDR4-2666 memory. Expansion capabilities include 3× PCIe x16, 1× PCI, and 2× M.2 M-Key slots for NVMe or SATA storage. In addition, the server provides 5× SATA 3.0 ports for flexible storage configurations.

Connectivity includes 2× Gigabit Ethernet, 2× COM ports, 6× USB 3.1 Gen1, and optional TPM 2.0 support. The rugged 4U industrial steel chassis is designed for continuous operation and supports Windows 10, Windows Server 2019, and Linux. With 10-year CPU lifecycle support through Q1 2031, the RM645-SO630 is an ideal solution for long-term industrial deployments.
