VC nano 3D-Z profile sensors

For numerous industrial applications, the 2D/3D profile sensors can capture data and directly transfer the triangulation results to a central control unit—an external PC is not necessary. The required computing power is provided by powerful FPGAs in combination with a dual-core ARM processor, which can be used for specific application tasks.

The VC nano 3D-Z can not only evaluate the scanned 3D profiles but also the 2D grayscale image, for example, to detect surface defects. This makes the profile sensors suitable for a wide range of applications while also offering an attractive price-performance ratio. Alternatively, the 3D point clouds and image data captured by the nano 3D-Z can also be analyzed on an external PC using existing applications.


The suitable profile sensor for every measurement range 

To optimally adapt to various measurement ranges and working distances, the profile sensors are available in different sizes. Additional custom models are also available upon request.
