OPT Grampus Series – Line Scan Lenses (Industrial Lenses)

The Grampus Series from OPT includes high-precision Line Scan lenses, specifically designed for use with line-scan cameras in industrial vision systems. These lenses provide a large image field with an image circle of Ø 82 mm, making them ideal for modern high-resolution line-scan cameras, such as 16K (5 µm), 12K (5 µm), and 8K (7 µm) sensors.

A key feature of the Grampus Series is the extremely low optical distortion (total distortion < 0.028 %, minimum distortion approx. 0.01 %), ensuring nearly distortion-free imaging – a crucial advantage for precise measurement and inspection tasks. Additionally, the lenses offer a wide magnification range of approximately 0.22× to 1.56×, enabling flexible applications from large-area scanning to detailed close-up imaging.

With their robust construction and high optical performance, Grampus lenses are especially suitable for demanding inspection and measurement tasks in production and quality control systems, such as PCB inspection, film and material testing, or OCR/barcode reading with line-scan cameras.
