New service pack delivers enhanced classification using deep learning including user-led training; HDR imaging; and revamped plus augmented 3D display, processing, and analysis
Our Partner Matrox® Imaging is proud to announce the upcoming release of Matrox Imaging Library (MIL) X, the latest expansion of this field-proven vision software offering. MIL X includes a number of new features, such as:
Enhanced image classification tools leveraging deep learning technology to categorize images using two distinct approaches: A global approach assigns image content to pre-established classes, and now a coarse segmentation approach maps image neighborhoods according to categories, ultimately identifying and roughly locating the presence of specific features or defects.
The ability for users to train their own neural networks starting from one of the supplied pre-defined ones or have the team of Matrox Professional Services vision experts conduct the training on the users’ behalf.
Broader registration toolset that adds an HDR imaging tool for combining identical images, taken at different camera exposure levels, into a single image that contains a greater range of luminance.
Repackaged suite of 3D vision functionality—including processing and analysis tools, new container data type, and integrated 3D display—to better facilitate application development.
Support for Arm® processor architecture, the most widely used platform for embedded vision systems.
