OPT-IXX-IR Series – IR Lights (Standard Light Source)

The OPT-IXX-IR series from OPT includes versatile infrared light sources for industrial machine vision, available as standard in 850 nm and 940 nm wavelengths – ideal for applications that require illumination beyond the visible spectrum.

These IR light sources offer two selectable intensity levels per size and can be flexibly adapted in terms of wavelength, dimensions, and radiant intensity to meet different inspection and detection requirements.

Thanks to innovative LED technology and customization options, OPT IR lights are suitable for a wide range of applications: medical technology (e.g. vascular network inspection and eye-tracking), inspection of transparent plastic packaging, textile and garment inspection, as well as electronics and semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceutical applications, and display inspection such as LCD and OLED.

The series includes various form factors (e.g. ring lights, bar lights, and other light shapes) that are compatible with common vision systems and provide homogeneous IR illumination for reliable detection results.
