OPT-FLC Series – Edge Lit Backlights (Standard Light Source)

The OPT-FLC series from OPT consists of high-quality edge-lit backlights featuring an ultra-thin design, specifically developed for industrial vision and automated inspection systems. With a minimal thickness of only about 6 mm, these LED backlights are ideal for installations with limited space where conventional backlighting solutions reach their limits.

Despite their slim design, OPT-FLC models deliver high light intensity and uniform illumination across the entire lighting surface. This makes them perfectly suited for applications such as PCB detection and inspection, workpiece measurement, as well as the detection of LED defects and other surface features.

The edge-lit design provides uniform, high-contrast backlighting that clearly highlights contours and structures in the image—an essential advantage for high-resolution camera systems and precise measurement tasks. In addition, the OPT-FLC series can be customized for larger areas, ensuring consistent illumination even for large objects.
