ASL171 – Mini-ITX Industrial Motherboard with Intel® Atom® Amston Lake Processors

The ASL171 from DFI is a compact and energy-efficient Mini-ITX industrial motherboard designed for embedded, edge computing, IoT, automation, and digital signage applications. Powered by the latest Intel® Atom® x7000RE processors (codename: Amston Lake), the platform combines low power consumption with modern DDR5 performance and extensive industrial connectivity.

The motherboard supports up to 16 GB DDR5 4800MHz SO-DIMM memory and features integrated Intel® UHD Graphics with support for high-resolution 4K/2K output. Up to three independent displays can be operated simultaneously through DP++, HDMI, USB Type-C, and an optional M2A display module supporting eDP/LVDS/VGA/HDMI/DP.

For expansion, the ASL171 provides a PCIe x4 slot, M.2 B-Key, M.2 E-Key, and M.2 A-Key interfaces. The system also supports NVMe, SATA, wireless, and 4G/5G expansion modules. Industrial connectivity includes 2× 2.5GbE LAN, USB 3.2 Gen2, USB Type-C, SATA 3.0, multiple serial COM ports, and Digital-I/O support.

The ASL171 supports an extended operating temperature range from -40°C to +85°C, making it ideal for harsh industrial environments and fanless embedded systems.
