Industrial Unmanaged PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet Switch with 10 M12 Ports and Relay Bypass for Railway Applications

The Konten ET-0802C-M12 is an industrial unmanaged PoE+ Gigabit Ethernet switch designed to provide reliable network communication in railway vehicles, transportation systems and other demanding industrial environments. Equipped with eight 10/100 Mbps M12 ports with IEEE 802.3at PoE+ and two 10/100/1000 Mbps M12 Gigabit ports with integrated relay bypass, the switch offers a dependable networking solution for applications where continuous communication and robust connectivity are essential. The rugged M12 connectors provide secure, vibration-resistant connections, making the switch particularly suitable for mobile installations exposed to constant movement and harsh operating conditions. The integrated Relay Bypass function maintains network communication even during a power failure, helping to maximize network availability in critical industrial and railway systems. 

The ET-0802C-M12 has been specifically developed for continuous operation in harsh environments and complies with the EN50155 railway standard. Its durable SECC enclosure is available with IP40 protection and optionally in an IP54 version, providing reliable protection against demanding environmental conditions. The extended operating temperature range of -40 °C to +75 °C enables dependable performance in both extremely hot and cold environments. Redundant isolated PoE power inputs together with built-in protection against overload current and reverse polarity further improve operational reliability while ensuring a stable power supply for connected devices. These characteristics make the switch well suited for applications where long-term availability and dependable operation are critical. 

The switch utilizes a Store-and-Forward switching architecture and features a 5.6 Gbps switching capacity, an 8,000-entry MAC address table, and a 4 Mbit packet buffer for efficient data forwarding. Auto-Negotiation and Auto MDI/MDI-X simplify installation and integration into existing Ethernet infrastructures. Each PoE port supports up to 30 watts of output power, while the total PoE power budget reaches 165 watts under normal operating conditions, allowing multiple PoE-powered devices to operate simultaneously through a single switch. LED indicators for power, system status, port activity and PoE output enable quick monitoring and simplified maintenance. 

Supporting wall mounting and optional DIN rail mounting, the Konten ET-0802C-M12 can be integrated into a wide range of industrial installations.
