The new Qseven Computer On Module format is aimed at the next generation of ultra-mobile embedded processors in 45nm technology.

Mobile applications

Unlike previous standards for Computer On Modules, Qseven™ is clearly aimed at mobile and ultra-mobile applications. It combines the minimal power use and small dimensions of these processors with modern high-speed interfaces and battery management. The Qseven format allows high-speed processing on a PCB surface of just 70 x 70mm². Qseven™ provides fast, serially differential interfaces such as PCI Express and SATA, without neglecting old "legacy" interfaces such as e.g. EIDE and PCI, so as to be able to work smoothly with future generations of CPU and chipsets.

Qseven offers fast serial interfaces such as PCI Express and Serial ATA without support for legacy interfaces such as EIDE and PCI so as to enable optimal support even for modern and future chipsets.

Thanks to the low power consumption of the Intel® Atom™ Z5xx series process and the Intel® System Controller Hub US15W, fanless and ultra-mobile applications can easily be developed.

Small Form Factor

The dimensions of Qseven are just 70x70, meaning even very compact systems can be implemented.Qseven has been developed for the lowest power consumption.
