Virtual Instruments for
Data Translation's USB and PCI Data Acquisition Systems
Data Translation announces the release of a new version of its LV-Link software drivers for LabVIEW®. LV-Link is a library of Virtual Instruments (VIs) that provide quick and easy access to Data Translation's USB modules and PCI boards in LabVIEW®. Both the 32- and 64-bit versions of the popular graphical programming environment are supported. LV-Link 3.0 also includes a comprehensive, updated Help and many additional example programs to make application development even easier.
The virtual instruments have been specially developed for high-speed data acquisition and output. They integrate all the subsystems and features provided by Data Translation's USB and PCI measurement hardware, including analog I/O, digital I/O, counter/timers, quadrature decoders, etc., and streaming data to disk at full speed.
The use of polymorphic VIs allows a significant reduction in the number of virtual instruments within a LabVIEW® application. Polymorphic VIs combine the functionality of different VIs into one VI that takes on different characteristics depending on the selected subsystem.
The software drivers are based on the DT-Open Layers .NET class library and are compatible with NI virtual instruments. LV-Link 3.0 supports LabVIEW® 8.5.1 or higher, and LabVIEW® 2009 or higher. The previous LV-Link Version 2.0 is available for users of earlier LabVIEW® releases. Both LV-Link versions are provided free to users of Data Translation data acquisition hardware and can be downloaded... request us...

Twice as fast!

- DT9812A_13A_14A
Data Translation announces the release of three new 12-bit USB data acquisition modules for their ECONseries. Multifunctional, economical and easy-to-use, the new DT 9812A, DT 9813A and DT 9814A instruments are twice as fast as existing popular models and boast a sampling rate increase from 50 kHz to 100 kHz. Key features include 8, 16 or 24 analog inputs, two analog outputs (12-bit) with 75 kHz per channel, and up to 16 digital I/O channels depending on the model. A counter/timer allows frequency measurement and continuous pulse output operations. For easy portability, the modules are USB powered.
The new compact modules are only approx. 10 x 11 x 3 cm in size. In conjunction with a notebook or PC, they are the ideal solution for a wide variety of portable measurement and test applications.
Screw terminals allow quick and easy signal connections. The input voltage ranges are software-programmable between ±1.25 V and ±10 V. In addition, a high input impedance of 10 MOhm ensures excellent measurement accuracy.
The data acquisition modules come with a wide choice of software, including 32 and 64 Bit drivers for Windows 7, Vista and XP, and software interfaces for LabVIEW and Matlab. For developers, the software package provides many sample programs with source code in .NET, Visual Basic, Visual C#, Visual C++ or Visual J#. Easy-to-use oscilloscope and chart recorder software can be downloaded for free from Data Translation's web site. The software is ready-to-run and allows users to acquire data, display it in real time, and save it to disk.

Excuses, there is no translation at time...
„Economy Class“ USB-Messmodule…
